Cancel Membership vs Pause Membership: Which Option Is Right for Me?
Membership Pause
Pausing is an ideal option for families who want to take a break over school holidays, without your child giving up their regular term time spot. While paused, payments stop, and your billing cycle will be frozen. Your child’s spot in their regular class will remain secured, so they can jump back in when the pause ends.
All memberships can be paused for up to 12 weeks within a 12-month period. Pause options vary by package:
- Basic Package: Pauses available only during WA school holidays.
- Flexi Package: Use up to 2 weeks of your pause allowance outside of school holidays.
- All Access Package: Use your full 12-week pause allowance anytime.
Cancelling Your Membership
Cancellation is a permanent option, suitable if your child no longer wishes to attend classes, or needs an extended break beyond our pause allowance. Once initiated in our system, cancellations cannot be reversed, and your child’s spot will be given up to a waitlisted student. Any discounts or promotions tied to the membership will be forfeited. Should your child wish to rejoin in the future, you will need to complete a new enrollment / join waitlist via the website.
Enrollments are renewed in 4-week blocks. Your child’s enrollment automatically renews seven days before the current block ends, unless a cancellation request is received beforehand.
If a cancellation request is submitted after the renewal has been processed (seven days before the next scheduled payment), the upcoming payment will still be processed, and the enrollment will continue until the end of the following 4-week block.
Cancellation requests can only be actioned within the current billing cycle. We are not able to future-date requests past your next scheduled payment date. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to your package benefits and classes until the enrollment termination date. No refunds will be issued for any remaining period or unattended classes.
Confirmation
After submitting your cancellation, you’ll receive an automated confirmation email within a few minutes. This email confirms that your request was successfully submitted and includes a summary of the details. Please carefully review this information to ensure everything is correct. (May end up in your junk folder)
Once our team has finalised your cancellation (this may take up to 7 days), you’ll receive a second email confirming your exact termination date.
