We kindly ask that you only submit requests that meet the requirements, as this helps our admin team stay on top of inquiries and respond to everyone as quickly as possible. Membership pauses were introduced to cater to families that are not able to attend during school holidays due to our class times changing on these weeks, or families that are planning to travel during the school holidays. You can choose to pause for part of the holidays or the entire break. During the pause, your billing cycle and payments will be frozen, but your child’s spot in their regular term-time class will remain secured.

 

Here’s the criteria for membership pauses…

  • The minimum pause time is 1 week (7 days). Pause periods must be in full-week blocks, such as 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc.
  • Holiday dates are based on the WA Department of Education term dates. These dates can be found in the ‘General Info & Dates‘ section of your parent portal.
  • During membership pauses, you will not be entitled to use any of your membership benefits (discounts, etc.). Class sessions will be forfeited for the duration of the pause.
  • We need 7 days’ notice before your scheduled pause start date. Pauses cannot be backdated.
  • Memberships can be paused for a total of 12 weeks out of every 12-month period.

Each package has different pause options:

  • Basic package: Pauses can only be used during WA school holidays.
  • Flexi package: Use up to 2 of your 12 weeks outside of school holidays.
  • All Access package: Use the full 12 weeks at any time.

Please Note: Our membership system operates in full-week intervals, running from Monday to Sunday. Regardless of your child’s regular class day, all membership pauses will begin on the Monday following their last class and will resume on the Monday of the week they are scheduled to return.

 

Example – If your child will attend a class on Wednesday, 11th, the membership must stay active for the entire week (Monday, 9th to Sunday, 15th). The pause will then start on Monday, 16th. If the pause start date falls on or after your scheduled payment date, the  payment will still be processed to maintain an active membership status.

 

During a pause, your billing cycle is “frozen.” It resumes from where it left off once the pause ends. For example, if your last payment was processed on the same day that your pause came into effect, your billing cycle will be frozen at that point, so you won’t be charged again until four weeks after the pause concludes.

 

Current Term Dates – The current term time schedule ends on Sunday 15th December. The school holiday flexi schedule commences on Monday 16th December. The regular term schedule will recommence on Monday 3rd February 2025.
