Membership Pause

Overview

Membership pauses were introduced to cater to families that are not able to attend during school holidays due to our class times changing on these weeks, or families that are planning to travel during the school holidays.

You can choose to pause for part of the holidays or the entire break. During the pause, your billing cycle and payments will be frozen, but your child’s spot in their regular term-time class will remain secured.

Here’s the criteria for membership pauses…

  • The minimum pause time is 1 week (7 days). Pause periods must be in full-week blocks, such as 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc. All pauses start and finish on Mondays.
  • ‘Holiday dates’ are based on the weeks that our flexi schedule is in place. These dates can be found in the ‘General Info & Dates‘ section of your parent portal.
  • During membership pauses, you will not be entitled to use any of your membership benefits (discounts, Workshop credits etc.). Class sessions will be forfeited for the duration of the pause.
  • We need 7 days’ notice before your scheduled pause start date. Pauses cannot be backdated.
  • Memberships can be paused for a maximum of 12 weeks out of every 12-month period.

All Access
Membership

Your full 12 week pause allowance can be used at any time.

Flexi
Membership

Up to 2 of your 12 weeks can be used outside of school holiday weeks.

Basic
Membership

Memberships can only be paused during the weeks that our school holiday flexi schedule is in place.

 In the event of an unexpected illness or injury that will require 3 or more weeks away from training (as specified on a medical certificate), members may utilise part or all of their 12-week allowance, irrespective of the timing of those weeks.
 
 

How to pause…

To pause your membership, simply fill out the form below, and our team will take care of the rest.  We’ll send you a confirmation email once the pause is complete in our system. Please send us an email If you have not received confirmation after 7 days.

Important Things to Note:

  • Our membership system operates in full-week intervals, running from Monday to Sunday. Regardless of your child’s regular class day, all membership pauses will begin on the Monday following their last class and will resume on the Monday of the week they are scheduled to return.
  • If your pause start date falls on or after your scheduled payment date, the  payment will be processed prior to the pause coming into effect.
  • During a pause, your billing cycle is “frozen.” It resumes from where it left off once the pause ends.

Example…

If your child’s regular class is on a Wednesday, your membership will remain active for the full week (Monday to Sunday). The pause will then take effect the following Monday.

If your scheduled payment happens to fall on that Monday, it will be debited as usual to preserve your child’s enrollment. Your payments will then be frozen at the start of a new 4-week billing cycle, meaning no further payments will be charged until 4 weeks after the pause ends.

 Holiday Workshop Entitlements

  • Members are entitled to one workshop per week of the holidays while their membership is active.
  • If the break is two weeks long, members receive two workshop credits, which can be used at any time during the holiday period.
  • Pausing your membership will reduce your holiday tokens by the amount of weeks paused.
  • Requesting a pause after booking workshops will result in any scheduled sessions during the pauses period being cancelled.

 

Current Term Dates:

  • The current term schedule runs until Sunday, April 13th.
  • The school holiday flexi schedule begins on Monday, April 14th.
  • The regular term schedule resumes on Monday, April 28th.

This form only allows you to schedule pauses during school holidays.

Confirmation

After submitting your request, you’ll receive an automated confirmation email within a few minutes. This email confirms that your request was successfully submitted and includes a summary of the details. Please carefully review this information to ensure everything is correct. (May end up in your junk folder)

 

Once our team has finalised your pause (this may take up to 7 days), you’ll receive a second email confirming your request has been actioned.
